The RSA process
One continuous path from study to handover.
Each stage ends with clear information and decisions before the next begins.

How the work stays aligned
Responsibilities, dependencies and changes stay visible.
Owner decisions
Approve priorities, selections and material scope changes at the documented review points.
Project coordination
Assign each deliverable, agency response, inspection and open question to the responsible party.
Change record
State the scope, price and schedule effect before changed work proceeds.
Change-order source
Changed work belongs in writing.
CSLB states that a home-improvement scope or price change must be documented in a written change order signed before the changed work. Contract enforceability and project-specific exceptions require current official guidance and, when needed, legal advice.
Official California consumer guidance · verified 24 September 2026.
Start with context
Bring the address, goals and questions.
RSA will use that information to frame the appropriate first step.
